Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 29, 2026
Last updated: August 29, 2026

Welcome to Wildre3D (“Wildre3D,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website at www.wildre3d.com, our custom 3D-printing quotation and ordering services, and any products or services purchased directly from us through the website (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, submitting a file, requesting a quote, placing an order, or making a payment, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services or submit an order.

1. Business information

Wildre3D is a home-based 3D-printing business located in Wisconsin, United States.

Business name: Wildre3D
Business address: Milwaukee, WI
Support email: wildre3d@gmail.com
Website: www.wildre3d.com

References to “customer,” “you,” and “your” mean the person or entity using the Services or placing an order.

2. Scope of services

Wildre3D provides custom additive-manufacturing and related services. Depending on availability and the details of your request, our Services may include:

  • Review of customer-supplied 3D-print files.
  • Automated or manual custom-print quotations.
  • 3D printing in selected materials, colors, and production settings.
  • Basic file preparation, where expressly included in the quote.
  • Small-batch production, subject to capacity and approval.
  • Packaging and shipping of completed physical products.
  • Sale of certain ready-to-buy items through our Etsy shop.

We reserve the right to accept, decline, pause, revise, or cancel any request or order for operational, quality, safety, legal, intellectual-property, production-capacity, shipping, or other reasonable business reasons.

A quote, estimate, website listing, material description, or automated calculation is not a binding obligation to manufacture an item until we have accepted the order and, where applicable, received payment.

3. Quotes and pricing

Automated quotes

Some custom-print estimates may be generated through AutoQuote3D or another third-party quoting tool. Automated quotes are estimates based on the information available at the time of calculation, including the submitted file, selected material, dimensions, quantity, and configured manufacturing settings.

An automated quote may not account for every issue that can arise during file review, printing, post-processing, packaging, or shipping.

Final pricing

Wildre3D may revise a quote before production begins if, for example:

  • The file contains errors, non-manifold geometry, thin walls, unsupported features, or other printability issues.
  • The selected material, color, finish, quantity, size, or infill must change.
  • The actual print time, material usage, failure risk, post-processing requirement, or packaging requirement differs materially from the automated estimate.
  • The order requires design work, file repair, assembly, special handling, rush processing, additional quality-control steps, or a larger shipping package.
  • Shipping rates, destination details, or carrier surcharges differ from the original estimate.
  • We discover a licensing, safety, or intellectual-property concern.

If a material change to the price is required, we will contact you for approval before proceeding when reasonably practical. If you do not approve a revised quote, we may cancel the order and issue any applicable refund under Section 9.

Currency

Unless otherwise stated, all prices are listed and charged in U.S. dollars.

4. Payment

Payment for direct website orders is processed through Strip/AutoQuote3D or another payment processor made available through the Services.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method and authorize the applicable payment processor to charge the total amount due, including:

  • Product or custom-print charges.
  • Design, file-preparation, or review fees, if applicable.
  • Shipping and handling.
  • Applicable taxes.
  • Any separately disclosed rush, packaging, or service charges.

Wildre3D does not directly store full payment-card information. Payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

We may require payment in full before production begins. For larger custom, bulk, or business orders, we may require a deposit, milestone payments, or a separate written agreement.

5. Sales tax

Applicable sales tax, use tax, shipping-related tax, or similar taxes may be calculated and collected at checkout based on the shipping destination, the nature of the items/services ordered, and applicable law.

You are responsible for providing accurate shipping and billing information. If tax is not collected due to an error, exemption claim, incomplete information, or other reason, you may remain responsible for any applicable tax obligations.

Orders made through our Etsy shop are governed by Etsy’s checkout, marketplace, payment, and tax-collection procedures. Direct website orders are separate from Etsy orders.

6. Customer-provided files and content

You may submit STL, 3MF, OBJ, STEP, CAD, image, drawing, logo, text, or other files/content in connection with a quote or order (“Customer Content”).

You retain ownership of your Customer Content, subject to the limited license you grant below.

By submitting Customer Content, you grant Wildre3D a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free right to store, reproduce, inspect, prepare for manufacturing, modify solely as necessary for manufacturability, quote, manufacture, package, ship, and otherwise use the Customer Content only as necessary to provide the requested Services, handle customer support, maintain order records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Wildre3D does not claim ownership of your original design files. Unless we agree otherwise in writing, Wildre3D will not intentionally sell, publish, distribute, or license your submitted file to third parties.

We may retain Customer Content and related records for a reasonable period for operational, accounting, warranty, legal, backup, and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request deletion of submitted files after order completion by contacting us at wildre3d@gmail.com; however, some records may need to be retained as required by law or legitimate business needs.

7. Intellectual-property rights

Your certification

By submitting Customer Content or ordering a custom print, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the submitted design or have all rights, licenses, permissions, and authority necessary to submit it to Wildre3D.
  • You have the legal right to authorize Wildre3D to inspect, quote, modify as needed for manufacturability, manufacture, package, and deliver the requested physical item.
  • You have obtained any required commercial-use, merchant, third-party manufacturing, print-service, or contract-manufacturing license.
  • The requested work does not infringe or violate any copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, design right, privacy right, publicity right, contract, platform rule, or other third-party right.
  • Your submission and requested order comply with applicable law.

Many 3D-print files made available online are “free” to download but are restricted to personal or noncommercial use. A free download does not necessarily authorize a business to print the file for payment. If a file is marked “personal use only,” “noncommercial,” “not for resale,” “commercial license required,” or contains similar restrictions, you must obtain permission that expressly allows Wildre3D to manufacture the item for you.

Your purchase of an STL or other digital file does not automatically give Wildre3D permission to print it. Licenses may be personal, non-transferable, limited to the original purchaser, or restricted to noncommercial use.

Proof of rights

Wildre3D may request proof of ownership, licensing, or permission at any time before or during production. Examples of acceptable evidence include:

  • A commercial, merchant, print-service, or manufacturing license issued by the original designer.
  • Written permission from the original designer or rights holder.
  • A receipt and license terms that specifically permit third-party paid manufacturing.
  • Evidence that you created or own the design.
  • Evidence that the design is public domain or released under a license permitting the requested use.

We may reject, pause, cancel, or refund an order if sufficient evidence is not provided upon request.

Restricted requests

Wildre3D may decline orders involving, or reasonably believed to involve:

  • Copyrighted characters, artwork, toys, sculptures, game assets, movies, television properties, music-related properties, or fan art.
  • Logos, trademarks, trade dress, branded products, team names, or corporate marks.
  • Patented products, potentially infringing replacement parts, or proprietary product designs.
  • Pirated, leaked, copied, or improperly shared files.
  • Files with unclear origin, unclear licensing, or questionable authorization.
  • Content that is illegal, unsafe, defamatory, abusive, threatening, or otherwise prohibited.

Wildre3D does not provide legal advice and is not responsible for determining the legal status of every submitted file. Acceptance of a quote, payment, or order does not mean that Wildre3D has verified that a design is lawful or noninfringing.

Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Wildre3D, its owner, employees, contractors, suppliers, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:

  • Customer Content you submit.
  • Your alleged ownership of, license to, or authority over Customer Content.
  • Your request that Wildre3D manufacture, distribute, or deliver an item.
  • Any actual or alleged infringement, misappropriation, or violation of another party’s rights arising from your order.

8. File review and print limitations

3D printing is a manufacturing process with inherent variation. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Uploaded files may contain defects or be unsuitable for 3D printing.
  • Wildre3D may modify orientation, supports, layer height, wall thickness, infill, seam placement, tolerances, or other production settings as reasonably necessary to produce the item.
  • Unless expressly quoted as a design/engineering service, Wildre3D is not responsible for redesigning, repairing, engineering, or validating a customer-provided model.
  • Dimensions, fit, surface finish, color, texture, strength, flexibility, and appearance may vary due to the selected material, printer, settings, model geometry, production conditions, and post-processing.
  • Layer lines, support marks, seams, minor surface imperfections, small color variations, and reasonable manufacturing variation are normal characteristics of many FDM 3D-printed items.
  • A successful digital quote does not guarantee that a file can be printed successfully, safely, or repeatedly.
  • We may stop production or contact you if a print fails, creates an unreasonable risk of printer damage, is impractical to manufacture, or does not meet our reasonable quality standards.
  • Unless expressly agreed in writing, Wildre3D does not guarantee that an item will fit a particular product, vehicle, device, body, enclosure, or application. Customers are responsible for verifying dimensions, tolerances, compatibility, safety, and intended use.

9. Cancellations, changes, refunds, and reprints

Before production

You may request cancellation or changes by contacting wildre3d@gmail.com as soon as possible. If production has not begun, we will attempt to accommodate the request.

We may issue a full or partial refund depending on work already completed, including file review, design work, quote preparation, material ordering, custom configuration, payment-processing fees, or other nonrecoverable costs.

After production begins

Once printing, manufacturing, finishing, assembly, or packaging begins, orders may be non-cancelable and non-refundable except as required by law or as determined by Wildre3D in its reasonable discretion.

Custom products

Custom-manufactured products are made specifically for the customer and generally cannot be returned for reasons unrelated to a manufacturing defect, shipping damage, or material departure from the approved order details.

Defects and shipping damage

If your order arrives damaged, materially defective, or materially different from the confirmed order, contact us at wildre3d@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, and issue.

If Wildre3D determines that the item has a covered manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit, we may, at our discretion:

  • Reprint and reship the item.
  • Repair or replace the item.
  • Provide a partial refund.
  • Provide a full refund.

We may require return of the item or additional evidence before issuing a replacement or refund.

Not covered

Unless otherwise required by law, the following generally are not eligible for refund or free replacement:

  • Customer-provided files that are dimensionally incorrect, incompatible, or unsuitable for the intended purpose.
  • Fitment or performance problems caused by inaccurate customer measurements or specifications.
  • Minor visual differences inherent to 3D printing.
  • Damage caused by misuse, excessive heat, UV exposure, improper storage, impact, modification, or use outside the item’s intended purpose.
  • Color differences caused by screen displays, filament variation, material availability, or normal manufacturing variation.
  • Orders rejected or delayed because the customer failed to provide required licensing/rights documentation.
  • Delays caused by carriers, weather, incorrect shipping information, or events outside Wildre3D’s reasonable control.

Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

10. Shipping, delivery, and pickup

Shipping methods, costs, delivery estimates, and availability are shown at checkout or communicated as part of a custom quote.

Estimated production and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Manufacturing times may be affected by file complexity, print failures, material availability, order volume, weather, equipment issues, carrier delays, quality-control requirements, and other factors.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Wildre3D is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional shipping charges caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you.

Risk of loss and title transfer to you upon delivery to the carrier, except where applicable law provides otherwise. If a package is lost, delayed, or damaged in transit, we will reasonably cooperate with you and the carrier to pursue an available claim, but carrier outcomes are outside our direct control.

If local pickup is offered, pickup instructions, deadlines, and identification requirements will be communicated separately.

11. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services to:

  • Submit content you do not own or lack authority to use.
  • Request the manufacture of unlawful, infringing, dangerous, or prohibited items.
  • Submit malware, harmful code, corrupted files, or files intended to disrupt our systems.
  • Attempt to interfere with the website, quoting tool, payment processor, or other Services.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or improperly access the Services.
  • Misrepresent your identity, payment information, rights, ownership, or intended use.
  • Use Wildre3D’s name, designs, images, trademarks, or content without written permission.
  • Request products intended for illegal, unsafe, regulated, medical, life-safety, weapons-related, or other high-risk uses unless Wildre3D expressly agrees in writing.

We may suspend or terminate access, cancel orders, preserve evidence, and report suspected unlawful activity when appropriate.

12. Safety and intended use

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing, Wildre3D products are not designed, tested, certified, or intended for:

  • Medical, dental, surgical, or health-related use.
  • Food-contact use.
  • Child safety, infant products, or unsupervised use by children.
  • Life-safety, load-bearing, structural, electrical, automotive safety, or mission-critical applications.
  • Firearms, weapon components, regulated products, or unlawful purposes.
  • High-temperature, high-load, outdoor, chemical-exposure, or safety-critical applications.

You are solely responsible for evaluating whether a custom print is suitable for your intended use. Do not use a 3D-printed item where failure could cause injury, property damage, legal violation, or significant loss.

13. Etsy shop and third-party services

Wildre3D may link to or promote products through Etsy, AutoQuote3D, Stripe, shipping carriers, social-media platforms, analytics providers, and other third-party services.

When you click an Etsy link, place an Etsy order, use an embedded quoting tool, make a payment, or otherwise interact with a third-party service, you may be subject to that third party’s separate terms, policies, fees, privacy practices, and procedures.

Wildre3D is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, services, availability, content, data practices, or actions. Etsy orders are separate transactions governed by Etsy’s applicable terms and policies.

14. Website content and intellectual property

The Wildre3D website, including its text, graphics, photographs, product images, designs, logos, branding, layouts, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to Wildre3D and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may view and use the website for personal, lawful, noncommercial purposes related to purchasing or learning about our Services. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, or commercially exploit Wildre3D content without our prior written consent.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services, website, quotes, and products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Wildre3D makes no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, noninfringement, title, accuracy, uninterrupted operation, or error-free service, except where such warranties cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Without limiting the above, Wildre3D does not guarantee:

  • That every uploaded file can be successfully printed.
  • That a printed item will meet an unspecified functional, aesthetic, dimensional, safety, or compatibility requirement.
  • That website, payment, quoting, or third-party services will always be available or error-free.
  • That a custom print will be free from normal additive-manufacturing variation.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Wildre3D and its owner, employees, contractors, suppliers, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, loss of data, business interruption, loss of goodwill, property damage, personal injury, or costs of substitute goods or services, arising from or related to the Services, website, Customer Content, or any order.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wildre3D’s total liability for any claim arising from or related to an order or the Services will not exceed the amount you paid Wildre3D for the specific order giving rise to the claim during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. In those jurisdictions, the above limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law.

17. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy.

By using the Services, you acknowledge that third-party providers, including payment processors, quoting tools, hosting providers, analytics providers, shipping carriers, and Etsy, may collect and process information according to their own privacy policies.

18. Electronic communications

By using the Services, providing your email address, or placing an order, you consent to receive electronic communications from Wildre3D, including quotes, order confirmations, invoices, production updates, shipping notifications, customer-service messages, and policy updates.

You may opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us, but you may still receive transactional communications related to an active order.

19. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before starting a formal claim, you agree to contact Wildre3D at wildre3d@gmail.com and give us at least 30 days to attempt to resolve the issue informally.

To the extent permitted by law, any legal action arising from these Terms or the Services must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of those courts.

20. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.

Changes apply prospectively from the date they are posted, unless otherwise stated. Continued use of the Services after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

For an order already accepted before a change, the Terms in effect when the order was accepted generally apply to that order unless required otherwise by law.

21. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of our right to enforce that provision later.
